In Morges, the closest "big town" to Monnaz, we came across the bicycles for hire - for 10 Swiss Francs ($10 American - they're about on a par) you can rent a bicycle for 24 hours. A couple city government offices in town have cards that you purchase and a simple swipe across a sensor will unlock the bicycle for your use. They're very distinctive bikes and have advertising on them to help defray the costs. Nice idea!
We hope to be in Morges tomorrow (if the weather cooperates) for the weekly market that fills up the main street (which even on non-market days is a walking street with no cars allowed). Morges is a beautiful town on Lake Geneva with a spectacular tulip garden (we missed the peak of the tulip season - and the Tulip Festival - by a couple weeks).
I the background there across the street is a cast iron hanger. I can make out the heart in red is the other a blue bunny?
