Market Day in Morges

The weather was fine for a trip to the Saturday market in Morges down on the lakefront.  On our way from a remote parking spot (parking in Europe can be an adventure) I spotted this row of recycle bins - every thing from dog waste to cans to bottles to household grease and oils to batteries to the usual paper.  The Swiss are very big on recycling...

We arrived at the market and strolled through the booths.  Lots of organic vegetables.  Cheese is also a best seller, as are sausages.  Plus handicrafts and "antiques" of various sorts.

Not surprisingly, I found a mushroom stand and looked over the various available fungi.  Nothing very exotic or surprising.

After a while, I decided to sit on a quiet park bench and watch the parade of Swiss shoppers pass by...
